Hey Luxe Babes!! I Know, I know….Its been a minute. BUT imma spare you the excuses, cause I’M BACK, and Betta then eva! LOL!
Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you know that Lane Bryant has launched a collection with Rochelle Johnson from the popular blog BeautiCurve! She has designed some super cute dresses and I just had to get my hands on at least one! I chose the Animal Print Maxi Dress, and I Love it!!! I chose this one because its flattering, Leopard Print is a great timeless neutral, and It simply wont be sitting in my closet! I created 4 looks that would take you through your day! So LegggggGO!
Summer Office Chic!
I wanted to style the dress, which is already work appropriate, but add a pop of color for the Summer time! I Paired it with a Teal Thrifted Lane Bryant Blazer and Lane Bryant Blocked heal sandal. (Alternative pieces are linked!) I think this makes a very chic, professional look! Of course, a simple black pump would work perfectly for a more conservative office! You could even exchange the blazer for a simple cardigan…the options are endless!
Dresses and Sneakers Oh My!
So…I, have not fully jumped on the “Fancy Dress and sneakers” bandwagon. It gives be serious “office mom wears sneakers when she rides the train/bus home” vibes! LOL! But as we progress more into his trend, I think I could jump on board by staying with the more casual, sleek sneaker variety. The bulky sneaker look is not for me! But SIS!! If you like it chunky…DO YOU BOO! My trusty Adidas saved the day! I love the White and Black sporty contrast of the Adidas paired with this flowey animal print frock! And I added a chic fanny pack (From GAP, Poshed from Poshmark) to top this look off! And oh! Don’t forget my Fave Sunnies from Target!
Pass Me my Mimosa! #BrunchReady
Ok…This look is simple, but effective! It’s perfect for brunch with the girls outfit and you know I love some good convo over Brunch!Pass the french toast and Mimosas dahling! LOL! I added a belt to cinch in my waist and a simple pair of Tory Burch Sandals. For a pop of color, I added this tangerine Time and True Circle Straw tote to brighten things up! I Linked the online link, but they had NONE of the colors that were in store, which was tangerine, Black and Tan. Like, Come on Wally World! In tring to share your treasures!!
Summer Dinner and Cocktails on the Roof-top!
So, I literally saved the best for last! I really loved how you can take a great staple piece in your wardrobe and transform it in something new! I Layered ANOTHER Animal print top over the dress. I know…it seems like Animal print overload! BUT the key is SCALE when mixing prints! Im my case, the print itself was very similar. The Leopard Print Blouse from BooHoo had a much larger print, with a touch green that complimented it perfectly! Then I chose a green chunky green heal that pulled that green out of the blouse (Heals no longer available…I linked a similar color from JustFab!) Then..I was like…lets take it up a notch! #CardieBReferance lol! I added another complimentary pop of the color orange! This oh-so-cute Dasein Patent Faux Leather Barrel Satchel from Evine Live was the perfect addition and added a sense of glam and shine! And the Sunnies just simply say Slay SIS! SLAY! This Look makes me want to have drinks at one of Atlanta’s many roof-top restaurants!
Babe!?!? Let’s Talk!
That last look…girl…#IssaLook!!! Ha!!!
Well…I thank you for visiting me today! So girl…you gotta tell me…which outfit is your favorite? If you didn’t get any of the dresses from the Beauti Curve line…girl….RUN!! Rochell put her magical curvy fairy dust on this collection and said “Ok Yall…Get a dress and be GREAT!” lol! The dresses are all flattering in gorgeous prints and silhouettes! You Need one Babe!
