In all Seriousness
My life has been a tad bit complicated…nothing that I can ever seem to eloquently express.
I, as many people, paint a smile in my face to deal with the day to day. The more I do this I trick myself into thinking…hoping…praying all will be ok.
There are days when anguish covers me and im internally fighting. I OFTEN Laugh to keep from crying.
BOTTOM LINE is that I used to feel bad about feeling my feelings…and very much ashamed to express them. People who don’t know me know me think I have it all together…people whom I allow myself voluranabilty…know that I’m constantly… trying to mend myself.
They think they know all that is there to know, but I find it hard to express my full self. To know what to disclose and what is not worth it…because they wouldn’t understand anyway…right?
These things make you feel crazy!
How dare I struggle with anxiety and stress and OCD AND procrastination/Laziness? And Stephanie…if you know these things are your “issues” …why don’t you just fix them?
Girl..you have a job…your own home…a car…food to eat (sometimes…too much!)
I dont write these words for sympathy…I write these words AS THERAPY…and so my sisters out here know you are not alone!
This is my answer to all the “if you ever need to talk girl!!” End of fluffy conversations that a lot of us clichely add when we depart.
So If you you want to talk…comment below. I’m here with you sis…..NOW!
Stay Luxe…while plus.. and Live Life!
Hello Luxe Babes!
I want to stop in because I never got a chance to share on of my favorite blazer from LOFT! Its is a Navy double breasted blazer that feels so nice on the body. It is sold out, unfortunately, but there is another one in a gorgeous Glen Plaid that is on my list! Ill link it HERE! Let me know if your like these quick “How I Styled” Post? Comment Below!
I Styles it with a tunic-length top from Target. Its the perfect Peek-a-boo length and gives that preppy feel I like!
I wanted to show case a structured DKNY tote to edge it up a bit (linked a Similar style). A statement handbag is in huge demand this Fall, but it dose not have to break the budget! Purchase what best suits your budget…just take a look at whats trending and be inspired by that look. The DKNY Logo on a tote bag gives the perfect balance of Sporty and chic! I also added simple pair of Heals from Just Fab. Classic pumps are ALWAYS in style! Being CLASSIC is always in style too! Don’t let Fast-Fashion tell you otherwise!
As far as small accessories, I added a pair of Sunnies from and a Fabric knotted headband from Target! Statement headbands are POPPING for the fall! The bulkier the better with this trend! Also explore fancy and funky hair clips and pins! Be creative!
I also showed a Flat option with the Rumi Mule in a luxe silk-spun Marigold fabric from Sam Edeman! A statement flat will substitute those times where heals are not an option. Add a pop of color or chose a few pair with over-the-top embellishments such as feathers, fur or rhinestones! Make a statement hunny!!!
Thank you dolls for checking out my quick outfit post! I LOVE a good Blazer for the Fall! I even look forward to doing some thrifting for some menswear blazers! Thank GOD i’m in a new building that isn’t always hot, so I feel comfortable layering with some of the chic Blazers in my collection. I will be mixing in affordable fashion with whats in my closet…NO CLOTHES LEFT BEHIND!! Love You Dolls! :-*

Hello Dolls and Gents!!
So! Those who know me, or have scrolled through my Instagram, knows that I have a mild obsession with leopard print! Its funny, I always pick on my girl Rhonda (from www.LifeByRhonda.com ) about her obsession with this print, but secretly I’m celebrating the fact that I have a friend who knows that this print is CLASSIC AND WILL NEVER DIE!!! :::insert hand clapping emogies ::: LOL!
Anyway! I was in Walmart making a quick purchase before work…and when I mean quick, I mean I was going to be late for work if it took more then 10 mins! As I dashed through the store to grab my item, in the corner of my eye…I saw a dress! I was like OK WALLY WORLD! THIS WILL BE A LOOK!! Dammit Stephanie!!! Focus!! I had to go!
Long story short: I went to Walmart after I got off that night and thank God they had my Size! It was late….so all I needed it to do is Fit! Its Did and now here to show you about this dress!
The Dress is from Time and Tru and is in the iconic leopard print! It has a peasant Boho feel and is super transitional! You can wear this dress now into winter with no problem! So great fro warm days and cool nights!! Let me shut up and show you the dress!!!
I immediately knew i wanted a Rocker Chic vibe when styling this dress! I paired the dress with the “Jenna” Studded bootie from JustFab, my Suede Fringe bag from Vince Camuto and a simple quilted watch I picked up from Burlington (Listen… I needed a watch I could wear to work and I wouldn’t hurt anyone if it got damaged…IJS) Oh! And bog ole round shades! I have no idea where they are from…Im Assuming Target…cause I have officially forwarded my mail there…lmao! #PostOfficeDeclined
I love pairing a studded bootie to toughen up a look! It just compliments the leopard print…and the fringe gives it a rock star vibe! A Leather Moto jacket would look BOMB with this look in the colder months! Add some tights and some knee-high or combat boots would look perfect!
To soften the look…add a feminine cross-body bag or a tote, a pair a fabric-upper pair of Over-the-knee/Thigh High boots and a long, soft Tan Cardigan!
If you guys want me to do a look-book on ways to style this dress, let me know in the comments below!
Thank you guys for checking out my new favorite dress! LOL! It’s super versatile and makes an awesome transitional piece for this Fall! I always tell people not to sleep on Walmart! They often have some cute stuff, specially the Time and Tru Line & Terra and Sky! Oh! I purchased a size XXL and I wear a size 18/20 in Plus. This dress didn’t come in plus, but this definitely shows how somethings you just need to try things on! I will say, if you wear a bra larger then a 40H…Issa no for you dawg! LOL! And my arms barely made the cut! Another fact is..I look better then the Model! The right body and accessories make an outfit hunni!!
Till next time Luxe Babes and Gents!
Hi Luxe Babes!
One of Fall’s Biggest trends is plaid! Now…I will say that I am not surprised! In the south, we are certainly not a stranger to this print! It’s a fall staple and I love how this print can be dressed up and down! Note: I wanted to do a office look, but I didn’t bring the correct shoes to the shoot, So it ended up being more of a casual Friday look! BUT you will see that look at a later date! If you follow my Instagram, I posted a Metallic skirt by GAP that I’m so in love with, and I plan to style it with this plaid!
The Shirt I chose to use is a Soft Yoke neckline Plaid top by Max Studio. I purchased this from Marshalls 2 Seasons ago, but usually you can find a variation of this shirt every year. It has rolled-Tab sleeves which allows it to be a super transitional piece. It runs between $19.99 to $29.99 at Marshalls. Of course, you can use any regular shmegular plaid top of your choice to complete these looks!
Look #1: Urban Chic
The first look I ended up doing was a Urban Chic look, which is simple, yet a younger approach. I Pulled my hair up in a youthful half-Up/Half-Down look. I Tied up the top at the waist and paired it with a very distressed pair of skinny jeans (Random pair from ROSS) and a clean Lace-up pair of Suede wedges (Click here for a Similar pair) I love this look because its not doing too much ans the Tan color of the booties gives me that “Tims” vibe!
Look #2: Bonfire Cozy
Ok…this look was my favorite look of them! This look screams southern girl ready for spiked Hot Chocolate and smores by a bonfire! I let my hair loose so it could literally Blow in the fall wind! I unrolled the sleeves and Layered over a Faux Sherpa Vest from Target (Past Season). I chose a medium Blue pair of denim by the brand Curve Appeal I Purchased at Marshall’s, But I Got yall! I found them in HSN for $19.99! Click Here to purchase?! The boots are past Season too…But they are from JustFab, I Found a Wide-Calf pair that are similar, but there are many variations for this outdoorsy boot! (Click Here)
Look #3: Casual Friday
This look, with the same jeans from the 2nd look, I tucked in this shirt and layered this awesome Faux Suede Drape coat from JustFab! It’s very Chic and fairly warm! It has stretch in the fabric (Similar to a heavier scuba weight) so Its very comfy when layering! I HATE wearing coats in the winter because I feel constricted, but this overcoat is very easy to wear! The Boots….THE BOOTS!!! They were purchases on QVC (I Believe) but I found them here on google for your purchasing pleasure! They are in the color “Deep Sugar Plum” and are a pretty Suede with fringe detail to die for! AND they come in Wide Width!!! Whaaaaattt!?!?!? They feel luxe on your feet hunny! The Bag is Italian and was purchased from Marshall’s.
Well, that’s it for now! Im super excited it is FINALLY starting to feel like fall here in Georgia! The temperature is dropping and nights are definitely cooler! What was your Favorite Outfit? Is Plaid a staple in your Fall wardrobe? Comment below!
Till next time Luxe Babes!
